Before I decided to manipulate this for my sister as her Christmas present, this year. Image manipulation, I decided (it was never an argument, really), would not be enough. I would put this on real, papery paper.
Grayscale Knowing well enough about myself to honestly judge that my portrait abilities were less than par, I utilized The GIMP. Posterize, my man.
Infrared Still, grayscale isn't so easy to see, so I put it down in colors to make my stencils. Yes. Face stencils. I got to play with sharp knives. Art's great, isn't it? :D
Outlined This amused me, so I took the picture after I'd finished using my stencils (two of them--I cut out red and green on one, orange and blue on the other).
Danhawk And this is what happened. It really looks better in the frame. I need to work on my picture *taking* skills, too. Yay. :)

Sheeeit.

No doubt. After loading it, why in the world does her face look squished? Okay, fresh picture...
Framed Yeah, that's better. An amusing statistic (because that's all statistics are good for): I misspelled "Danhawk" as "Dankhawk" at least 50% of the time. :)
