I am going to start off by saying, "No, JamEz, I have not animated them yet. ;)" Animation takes a good quantity of work--work that I do not want to do before we have established a specific idea and look for your avatar. That being said, here is what I have...so far.
Okay, JamEz, I was making these top two before you suggested the "dancing" dude last night. I am progressing the pictures in stages in an attempt to possibly rule out some content. "No shirt" versus "green shirt" is as far a I got.
So! onto the dancing dude. I kind of like your latter (this idea: the dancing dude--forgive me, some people do not know what "latter" means. ;) ) idea better. That is just me talking, however. In the first picture I am just showing you the difference between what 86 drew and what I drew to make them smaller. Quite a bit of difference, I know. Sadly, I cannot really get them any smaller before they become unrecognizible. Onto the second picture. You can obviously see that I chose the smaller set of images to work with. The second and the third are "no cords" versus "cords" --an obvious choice lies between the two. ;) In the fouth picture I placed the "bugs." Although I greatly decreased their size, I still find them too bulky to be in such a small picture. It is your choice, however.
If you do choose to pursue the dancing dude, I need to know what style of dancing you want the dancing dude to do. That is a lot of "duh's." ;) Anyway, do you want some kind of spinning dancing dude from "The Sound of Music," some kind of break dancer, an Ipod commercial type of groove, or what? Specifics, Mr. JamEz, specifics. ;)
Again, if you want something added/removed/changed/moved just tell me.

Okay, JamEz-man, here is a VERY ROUGH draft. Imagine with me, if you will, the fully completed avatar. Yes, colors and all. Believe it or not, animation is a lot of work. Work I enjoy doing, yes, but not re-doing. Get me? ;)
So, this is the dance that I decided to do. Remember, I can smooth it out, speed it up, slow it down, and add colors all at the end--this is just for the motion aspect of the game. The part where it looks like he is standing still, he is really spinning (I obviously did not feel like going into a whole lot of detail. ;) ). Also, the part that looks like he is walking on the "wall," he is really supposed to be doing a backflip. I did not feel like redrawing that, yet. Tell me, JamEz, should I pursue this dance, or go another route? Give me some specific example--something I can see or remember from to work off of--if this does not suit you.

Yeah, I know, you have seen this before. I put it up here for continuity. ;)~

Here he is; yes, I do realize that he is rather stiff. Be enthralled, laugh, accept, or reject--it is my first-ish, completed, animated avatar...my first animated explosion, too. Hehe. Always time for firsts. ;)~ I have paid my dues. Thank you. ;)
